Jake: Hello again and welcome to the second session of Outside looking In, Hello to all our readers and of course Eustache, We'll aim to provide an "outside" perspective on five topics or questions each day, our readers can ask questions related to current events UK and worldwide.
Eustache: Salutations
Jake: Again today we'll be taking our topics from BBC News, Most popular Now so lets take a look.
Net firms in music pirates deal
Six of the UK's biggest net providers have agreed a plan with the music industry to tackle piracy online.
Eustache: This will see alot of come back i suspect "will see hundreds of thousands of letters sent to net users suspected of illegally sharing music." a good number of these customers will have legitimate reasons for high "upload" rates on their lines and doubtless will be unappreciative of being "suspects" involved in criminal activity, while it seems humanity at this time suffers from a greater degree of paranoia and fearfulness, this course of action certainly do the fight against pirates very little in the way of good.
Jake: Obviously, Police use own bodies to save man
Two firearms officers are in hospital after using their own bodies to smother flames engulfing a knife-wielding man who had set himself alight.
Eustache: Personally i would have allowed him to burn as he obviously wished to, however if the report is indeed accurate i am "heartend" to read of police officers being efficient and proactive, its rare to read of selfless acts that humanity is capable of.
Jake: Right.. Snack firms pledge obesity fight
More than £200m has been pledged by several food and drinks companies, including Coca-Cola, Kellogg's, Mars and Nestle, in a bid to tackle obesity.
Eustache: My, my more good news, some of the bigger names taking responsibility for their "crop", notable perhaps for its rarity, Perhaps this is a small step towards promoting Balance for the lives of some, will other industries and companies follow suit? time will tell.
Jake: Interesting news yes. Teens want to talk more about sex
Parents are missing out on vital conversations with their children about sex because of embarrassment, a report for the government says.
Eustache: There are moments when NT's amaze me or even amuse me, a population that spends a little over half its life time naked and below the civilised exterior one of its greatest drives is towards sex, finds it impossible to sit, calmly and maturely with its off-spring to discuss such matters and promote responsible veiwpoint, a purely emotive and sadly detrimental mechanism.
Jake: and lastly Police shame nuisance callers
Avon and Somerset Police have released a compilation of non-emergency 999 calls from the public.
Eustache: My day it seems has been made, another humourus example of behaviours , not so humourus to the individual dying or watching a loved one die unable to connect to 999 in time to acquire the assistance that could save them, but amusing none the less, a hint NT's, a lack of Hazelnut tree's is -not- a police issue.
Jake: That's our five for today we have just run out of time, thankyou Eustache, and thankyou to our Readers, comments/questions are appreciated as well as welcomed.
